Fridge.

We have moved into our new home at Pathways Community Pavilion located on the Mackie’s Way footpath that leads from Haslemere High Street to the hospital!

We are now open everyday from 8.30am-10.30am

The nearest parking is at chestnut avenue Carpark.

We ask all patrons to please be mindful of our neighbours when parking and accessing the fridge - lets keep things running smoothly in our new home!

We now need to pay for rent as well as utilities and FareShare deliveries so please help us by donating to our Just Giving page when you can

Let’s tackle food poverty and food waste at the same time.

In our town, we’re lucky to have a wonderful food bank that supports people in need. But we know that not everyone qualifies for that support, and some people find it difficult to ask for help because of the stigma that can surround food poverty. That’s where our community fridge comes in!

The community fridge is here to make accessing fresh food as easy and as normal as possible. By redistributing surplus food from local businesses, farms, and neighbours, we’re not only fighting food waste but also making sure that good food goes to people, not the landfill.

The best part? The community fridge is for everyone. Whether you’re picking up a few extra veggies for dinner, dropping off surplus food from your garden, or just curious to see what’s inside – all are welcome! This is a fridge for the community, by the community, helping us all live a little greener and a little kinder.

Please be considerate with your donations.

A good rule of thumb:

If you would feed it to a loved one, donate it!
