Always unplug the heat gun after use and before cleaning, changing attachments, or storing.
Never use the heat gun as a toy or allow children to operate it.
Do not use if the cord or plug is damaged, if the tool isn’t working properly, or if it has been dropped or exposed to water. Return it to the Library of Things immediately for inspection.
Do not insert objects into any openings or block airflow while in use.
Keep fingers, clothing, hair, and jewellery away from the nozzle and heated surfaces.
Do not touch the nozzle during or immediately after use — it becomes extremely hot.
Use heat-resistant gloves and protective eyewear if necessary.
Always point the heat gun away from yourself and others.
Place the tool on a heat-resistant surface when not in use.
Do not leave the tool unattended while turned on.
Make sure your work area is clear of trailing cables, clutter, and flammable materials.
Operate within the limits of your experience and confidence.
Always wear closed-toe shoes and consider other protective gear depending on your project.
Keep the tool dry and never operate it with wet hands or in damp conditions.
Unplug by grasping the plug, not pulling on the cord.
Do not use under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medication that impairs function.
Never use the item under the influence of drugs or alcohol or any prescribed medication that impairs your functioning.

By completing the Rental Transaction you’re implying that you have read, understood and accepted the risks listed.
Therefore you understand the risks involved in using the Heat Gun and will return it in as good condition as it was taken.
